New year brings launch of 12 new academic programs at Goshen College
Building on its academic distinctives, Goshen College faculty and administration recently approved 12 new undergraduate academic programs of study, including six majors, three minors, two concentrations and an education licensure add-on program, across five areas of study. The new opportunities will be offered beginning in the fall of 2017.

Take a hike, roast marshmallows or go canoeing at Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center’s annual spring festival, NatureFest, on Friday, May 1, 6:30 p.m. through Saturday, May 2, 2 p.m. NatureFest includes the Turtle Trot 5-K run, hikes for all ages and interests, and booths with hands-on interactive nature activities. Dale Hess, professor of agroecology, passes away
Dale Hess, associate professor of agroecology and ecological field station director at Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center of Goshen College, died on Sunday, March 1, in his home after a three-year battle with cancer. He was 60 years old.
