Sofia Samatar ’94 wins Hugo Award for Best New Writer

The John W. Campbell Award for the best new professional science fiction or fantasy writer of 2012 or 2013, sponsored by Dell Magazines, went to Sofia Samatar ’94, author of A Stranger in Olondria (Small Beer Press).
