Award-winning poet Tiana Clark will read and speak about her poetry in Goshen College Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall on Sunday, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m., as the featured artist for the college’s annual King Celebration, in collaboration with the S.A. Yoder Lecture Series. A reception will follow. This event is free and open to the public.
The Goshen College Music Together program will host an all-family celebration and sing-along on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 10-11:15 a.m.in the College Mennonite Church Fellowship Rooms, with special guest "Uncle Gerry" Dignan.
The fifth annual Goshen College Business Innovators Luncheon will be held Friday, Nov. 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the College-Church Koinonia Room. The guest speaker for this year is Guarav Khandelwal, a 2001 Goshen College graduate and founder and CEO of ChaiOne, a software and services company based in Houston.
The Goshen College Theater Department will present the fall Mainstage play, “Crimes of the Heart,” by Beth Henley, on Nov. 9, 10 & 17 at 8 p.m., and Nov. 11 & 18 at 3 p.m. The performance on Nov. 18 is ASL interpreted. All performances are in the Umble Center Theater.
Goshen College will present the 15th annual musical celebration of Christmas, “A Festival of Carols,” on Friday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m. in the Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall.
The current art faculty of Bluffton University will open an exhibition of their most recent photography, ceramics and mixed media works in the Abner Hershberger Art Gallery on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m., with an artist talk to follow at 3:30 p.m. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
I’m With Her, the musical trio of Sara Watkins, Aoife O’Donovan and Sarah Jarosz, will bring their extraordinary chemistry and exquisite musicianship to Sauder Concert Hall Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. for a Performing Arts Series concert.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the multinational Euclid Quartet will present a Rieth Chamber Series concert on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 4 p.m. in Goshen College Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall.
Alice Parker, an internationally renowned composer, conductor and teacher, will visit Goshen College for a festival performance of her music on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. in the College Mennonite Church-Chapel. This event is free and open to the public.
