Bob Yoder has heard congregational youth group leaders say they are afraid to lead Bible studies, fearing they do not have enough training. He also senses people are afraid to talk about their faith in their congregations.
All events are open to the public and are free unless otherwise noted.
The Goshen College student-led worship team, Parables, will use music, personal stories and original drama to worship in congregations and other venues over the next year.

Noted baritone and Metropolitan Opera singer Michael Todd Simpson will perform a voice recital on Friday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. in Goshen College Music Center's Rieth Recital Hall. Simpson will be accompanied by Christine Larson Seitz, piano.
Kasdorf, associate professor of English and women's studies at Pennsylvania State University, will share some poetry from her recently published book "Poetry in America."
The Manhattan Transfer, a U.S. vocal quartet, will kick off Goshen College's 2011-12 Performing Arts Series with their harmonies on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center's Sauder Concert Hall.
