Almost 30 years after they acquired international superstar status with Paul Simon’s Graceland album and after four Grammy Awards, Ladysmith Black Mambazo continues to tour the world as South Africa’s cultural ambassadors.
The Branford Marsalis Quartet will be joined by guest-vocalist Kurt Elling in a singular collaboration of musical forces. Following the format of a standard jazz quartet with vocals, the collaboration between jazz’s most intense band and one of jazz’s foremost singers will prove to be anything but standard.

Greek pianist and conductor Charis Dimaras is noted for his diverse musicality, appearing as recital soloist, collaborator, and concerto soloist with orchestras throughout Europe, Turkey, Russia, Brazil, China, Canada, and the United States.

Six Goshen College students have spent the semester working to publish a new literary journal, titled “Freaky Squirrels: No Answers, Just Stories,” a collection of essays, memoirs and photos, all contributed by GC alumni.
Students have less than a month to apply for admission and to be eligible for Goshen College’s top scholarships for the 2016-17 school year. The priority application deadline is Dec. 15, 2016.
Cherish the Ladies, an all-female Irish-American band, will perform a Celtic Christmas concert in Goshen College Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall on Dec. 13 as part of the 2016-17 Performing Arts Series.
