President’s speech: “Sweet Synergy”
Goshen College President Rebecca Stoltzfus gave this opening convocation speech, "Sweet Synergy," on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023. She said: "Synergy is sweet. And synergy is all around us – in flavors, in music, on teams, in relationships and business and biology." President’s Speech: Becoming a Hispanic-Serving Institution!
On January 25, 2023, Goshen College students, staff and community members gathered in the Church-Chapel to celebrate the recent designation of the college as a Hispanic-Serving Institution by the U.S. Department of Education. Goshen College designated a Hispanic-Serving Institution by U.S. Department of Education
The U.S. Department of Education formally designated Goshen College as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) last week. This means that for consecutive years the college has met the criteria of at least 25 percent of its full-time undergraduate students identifying as Hispanic/Latinx, and that it enrolls a high number of students who demonstrate financial need.
Rooted in good soil
