Goshen College’s Performing Arts Series returns for its 27th year during the 2024-25 season with 10 performances featuring new artists and returning favorites to Goshen. While sharing the common characteristic of virtuosity in their respective fields, these performers comprise a series representing a variety of genres.

The Goshen College Communication Department will be hosting its fourth annual Short Film Festival at the Goshen Theater in downtown Goshen at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 25. Frenchye Magee ‘01 will return to Goshen College on April 10, 2024, to help the Women’s and Gender Studies program celebrate 40 years since the graduation of its first minor, alumna Karen Krabill Yoder in 1984 (Social Work and Women’s Studies).
The Goshen College Choirs will present their annual EARTHTONES concert of world choral music in Sauder Concert Hall. The choirs — Chamber Choir, Vox Profundi, and Voices of the Earth — will present a varied program featuring choral works from a wide variety of countries and sung in foreign languages. Graduating senior choir members will also be recognized in this concert. The choirs are directed by Scott Hochstetler and H. Roz Woll.
Vox Profundi, Goshen College’s low voice chorus, will be joined by area high school low voice choral ensembles for a day of workshops and rehearsals, culminating in a festival choral concert in Sauder Concert Hall. Vox Profundi is directed by Scott Hochstetler.

The MC USA Constituency Leaders Council (CLC) reflected on the question, “What does it mean to do church together?” at its biannual meeting at College Mennonite Church, Goshen, Indiana, on March 21-23, 2024. Moderator-elect Marty Lehman presided over the meeting, which introduced leaders to MC USA’s new strategic plan, invited them to participate in reinvention exercises, and offered inspiration through storytelling.
