Janeth Vela's first experience with Goshen College began when she started taking piano lessons in GC’s community music program at the age of six. Today, she is a nursing major and plays soccer for the college.
Elizabeth, a junior communication and English writing double major, got behind a video camera her first semester, and now she's hooked. She hopes to someday travel the world and film the stories she sees and hears.
Elizabeth, an English and education double major from Greensboro, N.C., wants to become an English teacher. In the meantime, she’s the editor of The Record, a member of Hymn Club and a co-leader of the Ultimate Frisbee Club.
Irene Schmid, a junior nursing major, has a variety of interests. She runs cross-country, track and is the GC composting team leader. During May term of her sophomore year, she traveled to Nepal to work and study in a clinic.
Naun Cerrato, from Goshen, is finishing his last semester for his bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership. He came to Goshen College to further his career, but he also deepened his faith and passions.
Trevor Emery, a junior exercise science major, health minor from South Bend, Indiana, appreciates the homey atmosphere and enthusiasm for academics at Goshen College. He's active in Black Student Union and baseball.
