“I believe my studies at Goshen College, especially those related to history, gave me a good understanding of global issues – economic, political, social, environmental, etc. – and how these events and human actions affect populations in the world.  My theological and history studies have given me a good foundation to identify relevant Christian resources that help the Church reflect, advocate, and respond to the needs of those who become migrants, refugees, displaced, and uprooted from their homelands due to economic, political, social issues, or environmental catastrophes.”
