December update from the Presidential Search Committee

The Goshen College Presidential Search Committee met for their third meeting on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9 and 10. The primary focus for this meeting involved finalizing the presidential profile. As part of the development of the profile, the committee had in-depth conversations about the qualities that would be best suited for Goshen College going into the future. The profile was approved by the boards of Goshen College and Mennonite Education Agency (view it here). The committee expects to begin advertising the position in early January. In addition, the committee has been putting together a packet of information about the college to provide to perspective candidates, and they’ve continued to develop protocols for interviewing and reference checking. They reflected on continued feedback from the survey responses, and reviewed the search process to date, including identifying future agenda items.

On behalf of the search committee, we continue to ask for your prayers as the process moves forward.
