Professor publishes new book on leadership

Assistant Professor of Business, Carlos Gutierrez, recently published a book called, The Adaptive Leader.  This book began as a graduate research project focusing on the changes in leadership styles of leaders in the Central Valley of California after the terrorist attacks of September 11th.  This book examines how they were impacted, the changes that took place within their organization, and, most importantly, in their leadership style. The purpose of the book is to remind leaders of the importance of knowing themselves and how their approach to leadership should be flexible and adaptive, particularly in times of crisis.
