Our instructional laboratories have twice received National Science Foundation support based on the concepts and ideas of the program. GC’s undergraduate research program has specialty x-ray, optics, holography and biophysics instruments and optical, acoustics and physical laboratories that are used to help students further their education.
Over 70 percent of GC physics majors enter graduate schools, such as Carnegie Mellon, Vanderbilt, the University of Illinois and the University of California at Berkeley.
