Where Educators Are Made

At Goshen, you’ll teach long before you student-teach.

Education majors begin working with students in their first year. Before student teaching, you will have numerous opportunities to gain experience in local schools, observing, tutoring, and teaching alongside highly-qualified teachers.

Preparation extends beyond traditional walls. There are opportunities to lead lessons at Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center.

Backed by authentic, real-world experience and a global perspective, you’ll graduate prepared and confident to lead your own classroom.

What This Means for You

  • 100%

    • My experience in the Teacher Education program was a very positive and transformative experience. Every professor I crossed paths with was not just someone who deepened my learning, but a person who challenged me, listened to me, and pushed me to grow as a teacher and a leader but most importantly as a man.
