Why Give to Goshen?
From our Students
At Goshen, I have the opportunity to play tennis, participate in choir and be part of Pre-Med Club. From all of these, I have learned valuable skills and received a well-rounded education filled with all of the extracurricular activities that I was looking for.
Anika Baumgartner, a senior biology major from Goshen
What I most love about the GC music program are my lessons with Dr. Solomia Soroka, associate professor of music. I have improved immensely as a violinist because of her excellent teaching and mentoring. I love to be in a friendly environment of intense music making. If it weren’t for your generous contributions, I don’t know how international students like me could even imagine coming to Goshen. Thank you, may God bless you. Anonymous student
Why I Choose to Give
Randy Horst, Professor of Art
“I give because I believe in the mission of the college and it deserves my support. I also give because it’s a very special and unique place. The campus community is so supportive of each other, but it is also open to questions and explorations into matters of the mind and heart.”
Vicky Kirkton, Associate Professor of Nursing
“I give because I believe in the mission of Goshen College and the transformation I have observed in students who complete their bachelor’s degree here. It is amazing to learn what graduates do with their education, creativity and commitment to changing the world.”
Jo-Ann Brant, Professor of Bible, Religion & Philosophy
“I hope that my contributions will make it possible for students to pursue their vocations less hampered by debt. I hope that my contributions will demonstrate to students that I support their visions for how they might change the world for the better.”
John D. Roth, Professor of History
“If you believe that your time at Goshen College has meaning beyond merely a paycheck, then I would encourage you to help make a Goshen College education accessible for all students. Even if your financial contribution is small, it is a powerful symbol of your support for the mission and vision of our school.”
Ginny Nunemaker, Former Advancement Database and Reporting Manager
“I often hear about the wonderful things our alumni are doing, both in big and small ways, to make a positive difference. Goshen College helped equip them not only to be financially successful, but also to live full and rewarding lives, and to make a difference in the lives of others. I give so that I may have a small part in helping that happen.”
Neal Young, Head Basketball Coach
“The more we invest in Goshen College, the better it will be not only for students but for employees, as well as the community at large.”
