Johanna Sutter Scholarship

Johanna Sutter was born in Germany and as a child lived through World War II. Following the war, her family received assistance from Mennonite Central Committee. Johanna later worked for MCC in Germany. In 1956 she moved to the United States.

Johanna graduated from Goshen College in 1965 with a BA. in elementary education. She earned an M.A. from IUSB in 1971. Johanna has taught at Union Center School of WaNee Schools in northern Indiana since 1965.

Johanna enjoys international travel. In addition to annual trips to Germany, she has traveled to Nepal on three occasions.
