Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Brunk Music Scholarship

John David and Mary Brunk were a part of the re-awakening of the Mennonite Church at the turn of the century. Born in 1872 and 1875 respectively, they were in their prime years when the concept of missions and education in the Mennonite Church began to develop.

Eight children were born to them. J. D. passed away in 1926. Mrs. Brunk lived until 1953. She became a Christian in her early life and shared sympathetically in the active service of her husband. Their common interest in church music brought into their lives a wide circle of friends.
