Fall Student-Athletes: Friday, August 1, and Friday, August 8

FRIDAY, AUGUST 9 | Men’s & Women’s Cross Country

- Move into temporary housing.
- Required Athletics meeting for all members of the teams (coaches, students, managers, etc.)
- All fall student-athletes will have their official check-in on Friday, August 8.
- All fall student-athletes will verify financial aid, confirm payment for the fall semester, confirm their Student Health Information Form and immunization records are uploaded (new students only), and confirm all athletic department forms have been received.
- New students will also pick up their ID card (if they uploaded their picture ahead of time) or have it made, and returning students will have their cards checked.
New International Students: Tuesday, August 19, and Wednesday, August 20
- All new international students (first-years and transfers) will have a mandatory international student orientation on Thursday, August 21, beginning at 9:30 a.m. EST.
- All new residential international students should make travel arrangements to arrive on campus either on Tuesday, August 19, or on Wednesday, August 20. Once you’ve confirmed your travel plans, you should share flight information with the Admissions Office.
- New international students approved to live off-campus should arrive in time for the mandatory international student orientation.
Meals: All new residential international students will have meals covered beginning August 19 until meal plans start on August 21. Beginning August 21, Orientation will cover meals for new international students who do not have a meal plan or a limited meal plan (30-, 65-, or 90-block meal plan) from August 21 through dinner on Saturday, August 23. Sign-in sheets will be available in the dining hall.
New First-Year Students & Transfer Students: Thursday, August 21
- Residential students should plan to arrive on campus on Thursday, August 21.
- Orientation will email all new students information via their GC email at the beginning of August on how to sign up for a check-in timeslot.
- Board (meal) plans begin on Thursday, August 21. All new students who do not have a meal plan or have a limited meal plan (30-, 65-, or 90-block meal plan) will have meals covered from lunch on Thursday, August 21, through dinner on Saturday, August 23. Sign-in sheets will be available in the dining hall.

Returning Students: Sunday, August 24
- Residence halls and apartments are open for returning students.
- Returning residential students can direct their questions to Chandler Buchfeller, director of residence life and housing – cbuchfeller@goshen.edu
- Returning students will have their Final Check-In on Monday, August 25, from 12 to 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
