
We are excited to help you successfully begin your GC career and get you more connected with your future campus through your first day of class. Orientation is designed for all new Goshen College transfer students and consists of four required parts: Forms to Complete, Advising and Registration, Online Orientation, and Welcome Weekend.
1. Forms to Complete
- All new students must complete Forms to Complete before they arrive on campus for the new semester. Forms to Complete include accepting your financial aid and submitting your final transcript(s), and submitting the following forms: Student Life Residence Form, Financial Responsibility Agreement, Confidential Health Form, iPad Agreement, and Emergency Contact.

2. Advising and Registration
- After receiving your transcript, a preliminary transcript credit evaluation (PTCE) will be done.
- Once you submit your enrollment deposit, schedule a meeting with the Transfer Advisor, Natasha Teegardin to discuss your class schedule.
3. Online Orientation
- You can access this self-guided online orientation course when it best suits you.
- There are required components that all new transfers will need to complete before arriving on campus for Welcome Weekend.
- This course will cover everything you need to know to be successful in preparing to start at Goshen College, from paying for college to available academic services to registering your vehicle on campus.

4. Welcome Weekend: Move-in, check-in, orientation

- Aug 24 – move-in for residential transfer students
- Aug 25 – check-in, sessions, and activities required for all transfer students with 17 or more credits
