Seven Goshen College alumni will be showcasing their art in the upcoming exhibit entitled “From Goshen College to Goshen: Local Alumni,” located in the college’s Hershberger Art Gallery, inside the Music Center. There will be an opening reception on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m., followed by an artist talk at 3 p.m. The exhibit will be on display through Jan. 15, 2023.


Exhibit: "Liquid Illumination" by Sue Hershberger Yoder and Jon Yoder
The "Liquid Illuminations" exhibit by Sue Hershberger Yoder and Jon Yoder will be on display in the Music Center's Hershberger Art Gallery from October 1 to November 13.


Eric Yake Kenagy Visiting Artist: John Hendrix
John Hendrix is a New York Times bestselling author and illustrator. His newest book, The Holy Ghost: A Spirited Comic, came out in 2022 from Abrams ComicArts. He is the Kenneth E. Hudson Professor of Art and Chair of the MFA in Illustration and Visual Culture program at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis.

Visiting Artist Lecture: Greg Constantine, Eric Yake Kenagy Visiting Artist
Internationally recognized artist and author Greg Constantine will speak about his work during a public artists talk Sunday, Jan. 23, 3 p.m., in the Music Center's Rieth Recital Hall, followed by a reception. These events are free and open to the public.


Artist reception & talk: Cindy Cooper, "One Piece at a Time"
Local potter Cindy Cooper will show a collection of her pottery in an exhibit in the Hershberger Art Gallery from Nov. 7, 2021 to Dec. 16, 2021, with a reception on Sunday Nov. 7 at 1 p.m., followed by an artist talk.


Current and Retired Art Faculty Exhibit
Current and retired Goshen College art faculty members will display their work in an exhibit in the Hershberger Art Gallery from Sept. 19 through Oct. 29, 2021, with a reception and artist talk on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 5:30 p.m. during Homecoming Weekend.
