At Goshen College, you’ll master the essentials of business management while cultivating your entrepreneurial mindset. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world projects, you’ll build a solid foundation in innovation, marketing, finance, and operations. With small class sizes and personalized support, your ideas and passions will always take center stage.

Graduates with an entrepreneurship degree from Goshen College pursue careers such as:
Many go on to graduate school or join family businesses. The practical and ethical foundation gained here prepares you to succeed in diverse professional settings.
You’ll take core business courses with a special emphasis on innovation and business development, providing you with the knowledge and skills to succeed as an entrepreneur.
For a full list of requirements and available courses, refer to the course listing page.
From day one, you’ll dive into hands-on learning. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in internships, bring your business ideas to life, and connect with local entrepreneurs. Many students manage real businesses through GC programs like Java Junction, a student-run coffee shop, and FiveCore Media, a video production company. Additionally, you’ll take part in field trips, business plan competitions, and entrepreneurial events that will expand your experience and network. Students may also apply for grant funding from the business department to launch a new venture.
Every year, we offer qualifying students an entrepreneurship grant that launches ideas into successful businesses. Whether they want to start a business in art, computer science, business operations, higher education, innovative marketing, financial accounting, business law, human resources, financial aid, business administration software, business consulting to small business owners, agriculture, or another field, the entrepreneurship grant gives them the resources to make their “big picture” dreams come to life.
