Presents Hispanic culture, conversation and grammar using films in Spanish. Includes films in Spanish representative of various regions, eras, an genres, followed by activities which include written assignments, small-group presentations and discussions. Draws comparisons between written and visual narratives and offers critical tools to understand and analyze films. Prerequisite: Span 300 or consent from instructor.
