Basic concepts of nursing research are examined. Focuses on critical analysis and summary of published nursing research as a basis for using research in clinical practice. Understands the linkages between nursing practice, research evidence and patient outcomes. A major project is developed related to nursing research utilization. Prerequisite: Six credit hours of 300-level clinical nursing courses and an approved statistics course.
