ACC 405 Auditing

Study of the attest function and the responsibility of a Certified Public Accountant as an independent auditor of financial information. Utilizes nationally recognized CPA review materials with an emphasis on external Audit Processes of planning, risk assessment, substantive testing, completion of the audit, and formation of an audit opinion. Also addresses other attest functions. The course is structured to understand both the process of an audit and to prepare for the Audit section of the Uniform CPA exam. Prerequisite: ACC 306.
