On Sept. 16-17, high school students have an opportunity to visit the Goshen College campus to learn more about American Sign Language, music, environmental science/sustainability and pre-medicine.

Students can tour campus, talk with faculty, learn about financial aid and scholarships, spend the night in a residence hall and learn more about what it means to study in one of the most popular programs at Goshen College.

Small class sizes and rigorous programs allow students to work closely with professors and peers in a supportive academic setting.

American Sign Language
The ASL interpreter program at Goshen College will introduce students to the beautiful language and culture of the Deaf community. Students will also find many opportunities to practice ASL skills outside the classroom at workshops, Deaf church, Deaf sporting events and other local events. And in the final semester of the program students will travel to another part of the country for a 12-week, hands-on internship. Learn more at goshen.edu/asl

Environmental Science/Sustainability
Goshen’s environmental science and sustainability programs will take students around the globe, from studying aquatic life in our marine bio lab in the Florida Keys to performing controlled burns in the savannas of Kenya. Campus is just a short walk away from Witmer Woods Arboretum and the College Cabin, which serve as prime educational research sites right on the Elkhart River, in addition to Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center, a 1,189-acre nature preserve and field laboratory just 30 miles from campus. As one of America’s greenest schools, Goshen College will equip students to work toward restorative solutions for our world’s sustainability challenges. Learn more at goshen.edu/environmental-science
