Fall Semester
Educ 300 | 2 cr | Exceptional Learners: Elementary – T,R 12:30-1:45 p.m. |
Educ 301* | 2 cr | Curriculum Studies: Math – M,W,F 1:00-3:00 pm. Field experience as arranged with professor |
Educ 303* | 3 cr | Literacy I: Developmental – M,W,F 8:00-9:50 a.m. Field experience as arranged with professor |
Educ 401* | 1 cr | Child Development Practicum – arranged with professor |
Spring Semester
Educ 304* | 2 cr | Curriculum Studies: Social Studies – M,W,F 1:00-1:50 p.m. Field experience as arranged with the professor |
Educ 307 | 2 cr | Children’s & Adolescent Literature – T,R 9:30-10:45 a.m. |
Educ 308* | 2 cr | Curriculum Studies: Science – M,W,F 2:00-2:50 p.m. Field experience as arranged with professor |
Educ 310 | 2 cr | Educational Psychology – R 7:00-9:30 p.m. |
Educ 406* | 2 cr | Literacy II: Diagnostic – T,R 12:30-3:45 p.m. |
Fall Semester
Educ 410* | 6 cr | Transition to Teaching Practicum Full days for 12 weeks, plus additional time to complete a professional portfolio |

- Goshen College will accept up to three transfer courses in our elementary Transition to Teaching program. Your transcripts will be reviewed by the program director to determine what courses, if any, have already been met. Because these courses are aligned with specific state standards and learning outcomes, we cannot grant credit for experience.
Applicants must submit all necessary materials by June 1 to be considered for preliminary admission.
