Class of 1979 Gift to Goshen College

At our 40th class reunion in 2019, we began discussing how we could make a meaningful impact on Goshen College by our 50th reunion in 2029. Two goals emerged: supporting future students so they can enjoy the same opportunities we had and ensuring our outstanding faculty can continue teaching, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation.

Our class gift will focus on building two key Goshen College endowment funds:

SST Endowment Fund: Ensures that all students have access to the transformative SST experience.

Mininger Institute Endowment: Supports faculty development and teaching resources to help maintain the high quality of teaching and mentorship that Goshen College is known for.

In addition, we’re encouraging participation in the Goshen College Fund, which provides immediate support for student scholarships and other urgent needs.

We’ve set an ambitious goal:

Raising $500,000 in gifts and pledges by our 50th reunion in 2029.

Increasing class participation in the Goshen College Fund by 50%.
