Three CSA youth choirs to perform in fall CSA Showcase Concert

Tickets: $7 adults, $5 seniors/students, available at the door one hour before the concert. GC faculty/staff/students free with valid ID.

Three Community School of the Arts (CSA) youth choirs will perform in the Fall CSA Showcase Concert, Sunday, Nov. 16 at 4 p.m. in the Goshen College Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall.

The concert program will feature three choirs of varying ages performing anthems, folk music and classic choral pieces. Rejoice Choir (grades 3-5, directed by Kristin Kauffman) will be accompanied by local musician Les Gustafson-Zook, in a rendition of folk tune “Old Dan Tucker.” Shout for Joy (grades 6-8, directed by Sandy Hill) will be singing a medley from the Disney musical “Aladdin,” by Alan Menken, arranged by Ed Lojeski. Sommo Voci (grades 9-12, directed by Marcia Yost) will present a performance of the rock cantata “The Creation” by David Bobowitz, accompanied by electric guitar, bass and drums.

Tickets are $7 adults, $5 seniors/students, available at the door beginning one hour before the concert. Goshen College faculty/staff/students are admitted free with ID, as well as CSA students and their immediate family members.
