Need-Based Business Scholarships
Several scholarships in varying amounts are available to students with financial need. Priority is given to students with a grade point average of at least 3.0.
Each year, Goshen College gives approximately 20 students a scholarship honoring Erie and Orlyss Sauder. In recognition of their interest in higher education for careers in business, Erie and Orlyss established these scholarships for students majoring in accounting, or business.
The Sauder Scholarships are available to students intending to major in one of the business department’s majors. The grants are based on demonstrated need and priority is given to students with a 3.0 or above grade point average. Each year, approximately five awards will be given to each of four classes of students: first year, sophomore, junior and senior.
No separate application is required for these scholarships. New students must complete an application for admission to Goshen College and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students with demonstrated need and an expressed interest to major in one of the business majors will be automatically considered for this award.
Applicants should complete all steps by the December 15 priority deadline.
Kay Bandelier Gorsline established the Kay Bandelier Gorsline Scholarship for students majoring in business or communication at Goshen College. The Gorsline Scholarship award is for up to $3000 annually.
