Current Treasurer is looking to retire.  We envision a multi year transition for the new hire.  We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student or recent graduate with a strong foundation in accounting and business law. This role is ideal for someone who is not on the CPA track but has completed at least two semesters of accounting coursework and is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, multi-company environment.  We are eager to provide the necessary training for the nuances of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly internal financial statements for four entities.
Manage relationships with an external CPA for two entities.
Process  the 1120 tax return for two entities.
Handle billing and cash receipts for multiple entities.
Fully process payroll for one entity and manage payroll taxes (FICA, FUTA, SUTA & W-2) for two entities.
Administer sales and use tax filings across multiple states for three entities.
Purchase and maintain insurance programs, including Health, P&C, GL, Auto, Umbrella, and Workers’ Compensation.
Oversee OSHA300 filings.
Coordinate with a third-party profit-sharing administrator, providing necessary payroll information.
Maintain relationships with bonding and banking institutions.
Supervise payroll, accounts payable, sales data entry, and cash receipts processing.
Liaise with our enterprise data processing (EDP) vendor.
