“My success come from the quantity of running I do” said Mr. Gillette. As he tries to stay on track with his running career. Mr. Gillette has been going thought with a lot on his plate. Gillette is not just ranked 5th in the world in total marathon victories, but has a life he needs to manage with his wife and his two- and five-year-old kids. Not only does he need to take care of his family too but, he has to maitain his diet as a marathon runner. To make his strugles even worse Justin Gillete has been going though a hard times with his wife and her family’s illness.
Mr. Gillette has to kids that he needs to care for and they interfere with his practices and his running. you don’t usally see an 83 marathon winning runner pushing a jogging stroller while he runs and practices. Having kids and having a career it hard to manege but, Mr. Gillette says “If you want something good you need to go though good and bad times.”
As a marathon runner you just don’t have to run a lot but, you have to mantian a diet. “We eat soft foods at our house.” said mr. Gillette. as he mentions that he chocks a lot and can’t eat hard foods. Since he’s been out so much its been hard to find soft foods to eat or the right foods too eat. Justin could have problems it he takes risk to eat to eat hard foods but, since he’s been gone from home because his in-laws illness.
Justin’s in laws have been going though hard time. His sister-in-law just past away but, not just that his mother-in-law has a neck tumor. For the cause of that he has been over at his in-laws most of the times and it is in the way of his running and practices what will he do to get in shape and recover?
Mr. Gillette will run about 115 miles a week, will run for most of the day and eat better now. Mr. Gillette will work hard and harder to get on track and try to go for more. He won’t let his career fall down.
