On Saturday, September 30th, Goshen College’s Center for Community Engagement joined in on the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month by hosting a POP-UP! Vendors Market supporting local Latinx small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Vendors from around the area including: Elkhart, Fort Wayne, Ligonier, Warsaw, and Goshen joined in on the fun! The POP-UP! brought out residential students and community members in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and to support their local small businesses. You could find anything from esquites (corn in a cup), flower arrangements, custom t-shirts, chocoflan, tamales, champurrado, churros, concha cookies and much more!
On behalf of the Center, we thank all the participating vendors and those who came out and supported them! Feliz mes de la herencia hispana!
