GC Elite & Showcase Camps

This summer we’re offering three camps designed for high-level high school women’s basketball players that are looking for opportunities to play college basketball at any level.

GC Women’s Basketball ELITE Camp

Who: Incoming Junior & Senior players
When: July 30
Schedule:
11:30 a.m. – 1 pm – Check-in (optional campus tour at noon)
1 – 2:15 – skills stations
2:15 – Coach Miller presents “Navigating the Recruiting Process”
2:40 – GC player Q & A, 3 – 5 – games
Cost: $45 per player pre-registered (camp shirt included) – $55 per player at the door.
Description: This camp is designed for the Elite level HS players who are looking to play college basketball (it is geared towards JR & SR level players) – players will meet the entire Goshen College staff and team, listen to tips on how to navigate the Recruiting process, be able to engage in a Q & A session with the GC athletes, demonstrate their skills during stations run by GC players, and compete in games for the GC staff & other evaluators who will be in attendance.

GC Women’s Basketball Showcase Camp

Who: Incoming Frosh & Sophomore players
When: August 13
Schedule:
11:30 – 1 pm – Check-in (optional campus tour at noon)
1 – 2:15 – skills stations
2:15 – Coach Miller presents “Navigating the Recruiting Process”
2:40 – GC player Q & A
3 – 5 – games.
Cost: $45 per player pre-registered (camp shirt included) – $55 per player at the door.
Description: This camp is designed for the up & coming HS players who are interested in learning what it takes to play college basketball (it is geared towards Sophomore & Freshman level players) – players will meet the Goshen College staff and some of the GC players, listen to tips on how to navigate the Recruiting process, be able to engage in a Q & A session with the GC athletes, demonstrate their skills during stations run by GC players, and compete in games for the GC staff & other evaluators who will be in attendance.

Maple Leaf Hoopfest

There are four main goals for each athlete in attendance:

  1. This will be an exposure opportunity for players to showcase their talents to the Goshen College staff, as well as other recruiters, for the purpose of seeking opportunities to play college basketball.
  2. Players will test their skills against other elite-level HS basketball players.
  3. Players will have the opportunity to meet & play with members of the Goshen Women’s Basketball Team.
  4. Players and parents will hear Head Coach Stephanie Miller, along with alumni & staff, discuss “Navigating the Recruiting Process” and “Championship Team Culture.”

Location

Games will all be played at Goshen College (three full courts at Roman Gingerich Recreation Fitness Center). Free parking is available at the facility and teams will have use of locker rooms as needed.


Remember

Be sure to bring a reversible jersey and water with you.
Be sure to come a half-hour early to check-in before the camp.
