Authors in the Making Summer Camp
Students will have the opportunity to explore fiction and nonfiction writing through mini-workshops. Working on independent projects of their own with 1-1 guidance and feedback, students can revise and refine a novel/novella project in progress OR work on transformative writing with a modern twist on classic stories through a marginalized characters viewpoint with the goal of anthologizing our work. The week will culminate with a workshop on the publishing process and a reading.
Transportation available from Elkhart and Goshen locations. All camps include snacks and lunch.
Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de explorar la escritura de ficción y no ficción a través de mini-talleres. Al trabajar en proyectos independientes con orientación y retroalimentación 1-1, los estudiantes podrán revisar y refinar un proyecto de novela corta en progreso o trabajar en una escritura transformadora con un toque moderno en historias clásicas a través del punto de vista de personajes marginados, con el objetivo de antologar nuestro trabajo. La semana culminará con un taller sobre el proceso de edición y una lectura.
