Over the weekend our students began settling into their new homes with their host families in Quito! The students arrived just in time to celebrate Mother’s Day: each family celebrated in their own way, some hosting family gatherings, others going out for a meal, others spending a relaxed day at home. We heard heartwarming stories from students and host parents alike about moments of connection during these first few days of getting to know each other.
