Welcome to our blog about our experience in Puerto Rico, where our focus is on Hispanic Identities and Resilience. Over the next three weeks, you will hear from students about la brega in Puerto Rico. Brega and bregar are distinctly Puerto Rican words that mean to struggle, to overcome, to persevere, to deal with… all rolled into one word. We invite you to follow us as we connect, learn, explore, and grow over the next three weeks.
