The LEAFYs Athletic Awards Show

The 2025 LEAFYs was a blast! The LEAFYs are a yearly award show designed to recognize Goshen student-athletes in several categories for their achievements from the previous school year. The athletic department head coaches and administrators nominate individuals for these categories and then vote for winners among the nominees. Hosted by emcee Dante Stanton ’23, the annual celebration of Goshen College student-athletes was one to remember.

2025 LEAFYs winners:

  • Team Service Award: Baseball
  • Performance of the Year: Rebekah Muzyk, women’s bowling
  • Fan of the Year: Kellam Venosky
  • Men’s Highest Team GPA: Men’s Tennis
  • Women’s Highest Team GPA: Women’s Volleyball
  • Coach of the Year: Jon Bemisderfer, tennis
  • Live FULL Award: Sadie Brenneman, women’s volleyball
  • Comeback Player of the Year: Alyssa McDonald, softball
  • Male Rookie of the Year: Timo Novak, men’s tennis
  • Female Rookie of the Year: Uliana Dotsenko, women’s tennis
  • Male Athlete of the Year: Mathew Keitany, men’s track and cross country
  • Female Athlete of the Year: Shea VanScoter, softball
  • John Ingold Career Achievement Award: Tim Wilkening, men’s soccer
  • Ruth Gunden Career Achievement Award: Sadie Brenneman, women’s volleyball
