Goshen College records highest giving in 25 years as campaign closes at $76.8 million

Goshen College received $18,857,429 in gifts during the 2025-2026 fiscal year (July 1 to June 30), marking its highest annual giving in 25 years, and capping a five-year campaign that surpassed its goal.

For the third consecutive year, giving to the Goshen College Fund reached a new high, with 2,150 donor households contributing $2,789,990 — a 9% increase in dollars over the previous year.

“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of so many people who care deeply about Goshen College,” said Jodi Beyeler, vice president for institutional advancement. “Every gift represents someone choosing to be part of what happens here and investing in the students who make this place so special.”

Unrestricted gifts to the Goshen College Fund keep a values-driven education accessible through scholarships, help attract and retain dedicated faculty who know students by name and fuel the college’s distinctive experiential learning programs like Study-Service Term.

Conclusion of Connected Cause campaign

This year also marked the conclusion of the Connected Cause comprehensive campaign, which ended June 30, 2026. Launched quietly in 2021 and announced publicly in 2024, it set out to raise $68 million and, through the generosity of supporters, reached $76.8 million. During the campaign:

• 4,500 households or organizations participated, including 800 new donor households
• 500 households or organizations gave or committed $10,000 or more
• 115 households or organizations gave or committed $100,000 or more
• 52 households made new deferred estate commitments

“This historic level of giving over the last five years isn’t just about the numbers; it’s about impact,” said Beyeler. “The campaign has enabled us to enter our next chapter so much stronger. We have better learning environments, a more welcoming campus, greater scholarship resources, a stronger endowment, a larger annual fund and deeper relationships with our supporters.”

That impact is now visible across campus in a renovated Westlawn Hall and its new state-of-the-art Center for Nursing and Public Health; the rebuilt Stan King Tennis Complex; a restored marine biology field station, an endowed summer research program, along with many other projects, including significant academic program support, 38 new scholarships and strong endowment growth.

The record 2025-2026 giving year provides a strong foundation as Goshen College looks ahead. Continued support for the Goshen College Fund, scholarships, academic programs and other priorities will create opportunities for students and help the college respond to its most important needs.
