New and returning students were welcomed during the opening convocation on Aug. 19, 2020, which was streamed online, with select groups of first year students viewing in person. This was followed by a modified version of our traditional “applause tunnel.”
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, students shared stories in a beautiful, vulnerable convocation, before heading to the Fellowship Hall to celebrate the month with paletas. There, students and employees posed with flags and gathered for a group photo.
