Under the Hood with AI: Part 3, with Raj Biyani ’92
-
Science Center, Room 108
Artificial Intelligence may seem magical, but beneath the surface lie elegant mathematical principles and computational models that enable machines to learn from data and make intelligent decisions. This session takes you “under the hood” to explore the core ideas behind modern AI to uncover how deep learning, algorithms, data patterns and optimization techniques come together to power the AI systems shaping our world. This follows on the talks given on November 4 and 11, but people who did not attend the earlier talks will still be able to follow this part 3 talk.
Raj Biyani is a 1992 graduate of Goshen College and has had a long career in the computer industry, including as the former Managing Director of Microsoft IT India. He was recently awarded Goshen College’s Culture for Service Award.
