Dr. Joseph Berry ’94 is a physicist at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (National Renewable Energy Laboratory). Much of his research career has been dedicated to solving the problems of Perovskite solar cells. They are more efficient, and cheaper to manufacture than current silicon solar cells, but until recently, they degraded much more rapidly.
