Indigo Girls
The Goshen College Music Center Performing Arts Series is set to host folk rock duo Indigo Girls as a bonus concert on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. in Sauder Concert Hall.
The Indigo Girls, composed of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, are renowned for their soulful lyrics and deliver well-crafted songs that blend spirited energy with simplicity. Rolling Stone describes their voices as “soaring and swooping as one, alternately raucous and soothing.”
With a career spanning decades, the Indigo Girls have been captivating audiences since the late 1980s, when Saliers and Ray began performing together in high school. Their breakthrough occurred in 1989, marking the commencement of continuous touring. They have traversed the globe, selling over 12 million records and securing a Grammy along the way.
