Goshen College will host its annual celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Monday, January 19, 2026.

The day’s keynote speaker, Dr. Steven D. Parker, will speak at a 10 a.m. convocation in the Church-Chapel on “Good Trouble in 2026: Recognize, Rejuvenate, and Redeem.” That convocation, followed by pastries and coffee in the Fellowship Hall, is open to all who wish to join, and will be livestreamed (watch here).

Later that day, two workshops will be held for faculty, staff, and students. More information on those will be available at goshen.edu/mlk.

The day will conclude with a final celebration at 3:15 p.m. in the Recreation-Fitness Center.
