    • Interview stakeholders whose views may differ, and come to understand complex issues from multiple perspectives.
    • Imagine creative ways to be an “agent of renaissance” in the place you call home.
    • Enjoy great food and interesting sights in a historic U.S. city.

    Courses to Complete SST theme

    • GLST 241: Foundations, Environmental Sociology OR Ethnography
    • GLST 271, Community Engaged Learning, Environmental Disaster and Response with Mennonite Disaster Service (US), Appalachia Build (Kentucky)
    • GLST 300: Global Issues, Environmental Disaster and Response

    All sequential SST courses are three credit hours. GLST 241 and 300 meet on campus.
