Master of Business Administration

Master's Degree

An MBA that connects business, values, and global perspective

Lead with clarity, purpose, and integrity, wherever your work takes you.

  • The Goshen College MBA is a 36-credit-hour Master of Business Administration offered online in collaboration with Eastern Mennonite University and Canadian Mennonite University. Working professionals and recent graduates complete it in about 21 months through weekly synchronous evening classes, a four-day opening residency, and a one-week international residency in Costa Rica.
  • Two parts of this degree happen in person, and it’s worth knowing up front: the program opens with a four-day residency, and near the end you travel for a one-week intercultural residency in Costa Rica. Everything else meets virtually on Thursday evenings, so you keep working while you earn the degree.

    Built around your working life

This MBA is designed for purpose-driven professionals ready to lead adaptive, ethical, and resilient organizations, and for recent graduates who want a running start. The cohort model and flexible online format give you connection, community, and rigor without stepping away from your job. Recent graduates with qualifying coursework can earn advanced standing for up to 6 credit hours.

If you’re a current Goshen undergraduate, the dedicated pathway lets you begin taking MBA courses in your junior or senior year, reducing both the cost and the time to your master’s degree after graduation. Work closely with your academic advisor to map the requirements and timeline. A separate application to the MBA program is still required.

    What you’ll study

    • Leadership for the Common Good- Core courses in leadership, management, and organizational behavior build systemic wisdom and long-term, values-rooted judgment.
    • Sustainability & Global Citizenship- Study business through a triple-bottom-line lens, planet, people, and profit, and finish with an international residency in Costa Rica.
    • Analytics, Finance & Accounting- Read financial statements, model decisions in Excel, and turn financial and non-financial data into strategy you can act on.
    • Strategy, Marketing & Global Business- Electives in strategic marketing, supply chain, international business, and narrative leadership sharpen how you create and communicate value.
    • I knew this program would emphasize values I shared and expected it would be a high-quality education.
