      Train Where the Maple Leafs Train

      • A facility built for performance: your classrooms include the Roman Gingerich Recreation-Fitness Center which is a three-court gym, indoor track, turf area, and specialized human performance labs, the same facility that powers Maple Leafs Athletics.
      • Hands-on experience starts early: coach Maple Leaf athletic teams, teach elementary students through physical education field placements, intern with regional wellness programs, or help plan and promote campus-wide recreational events.

      Three Majors, One Growing Field

      Careers in movement, health, and sport are growing fast. Physical therapist jobs are projected to grow 11% and occupational therapy roles 14% over the next decade. (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).

      • Exercise Science: feeds directly into graduate programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and athletic training.
      • Sport Management: prepares you for athletic administration, event management, and sports marketing whether you prefer the front office or the sidelines.
      • Physical Education: leads to P-12 teacher certification,  and a coaching certificate is open to any major.
