As a film production major, you’ll explore every aspect of filmmaking—from directing and producing to editing and sound design—while building the technical skills and creative vision to make your mark in the industry.

From day one, you’ll get hands-on experience using industry standard digital cinema equipment. and working in real production environments. Small class sizes mean you’ll collaborate closely with peers and receive one-on-one mentorship from faculty who are professionals still active in the industry..     Hands-On Learning Opportunities

    Goshen College’s film program places a strong emphasis on real-world experience. You can work in our professional Emmy® Award willing video production company, FiveCore Media. Or volunteer at Goshen’s River Bend Film Festival, one of Indiana’s oldest and biggest film festivals.

    As a film production major, you are eligible for merit-based scholarships and need-based financial aid.
