If you love storytelling, media, and making meaningful connections with audiences, Goshen College is the place to turn your passion into a career. In our award-winning broadcasting program, you’ll jump into hands-on experiences from your very first year—opportunities that students at larger schools often wait years to get.
You’ll master skills in radio and TV production, podcasting, digital storytelling, public speaking, and news writing. Whether you major or minor in broadcasting, you’ll graduate with a strong portfolio, real-world experience, and a resume that stands out in a fast-moving, competitive industry.
As a broadcasting student at Goshen College, you won’t just learn about media—you’ll be immersed in it. You’ll join a close-knit community of creative communicators and dive into real-world projects that give you a head start on your career. Whether you’re on-air, behind the camera, writing scripts, or producing content, you’ll have countless opportunities to practice your craft and sharpen your skills.
From day one, you’ll work with professional equipment in real studios and speak to real audiences. Whether you’re hosting your own show on 91.1 FM The Globe, reporting live on air, filming and editing stories for Globe TV, or producing videos with FiveCore Media, you’ll gain the kind of experience that sets you apart.
Internships are built into your path. You could be working with organizations like Fox 28 TV, WNDU, ESPN Fort Wayne, or even the Indianapolis Colts—sometimes before your second year. And with access to our state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll be using the same digital tools and software trusted by industry professionals.
