In recognition of her interest in business and communication, Kay Bandelier
Gorsline established the Kay Bandelier Gorsline Scholarship for students
majoring in business or communication at Goshen College. The Gorsline
Scholarship award is for up to $3000 annually.
Eligibility
The Gorsline Scholarship is available to students intending to major
in business, accounting, or business information systems. Gorsline
recipients must be eligible for admission to Goshen College and have
a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.2 or higher. Transfers
must have a cumulative college gpa of 3.0 or higher.
Renewal of award
Students may renew the scholarship for a total of six semesters after
the first year by continuing to major in business, accounting, or
business information systems at Goshen College and maintaining a grade
point average of at least 3.0.
Application
As an incoming student to Goshen College, you may apply for the Gorsline
Scholarship by:
completing an application for admission to Goshen College
completing a Gorsline Scholarship application, which can be obtained
from the Admission Office
responding to the short essay, using no more than two typewritten,
double-spaced pages
interview at Goshen College on Saturday, February 09, 2008, at Celebrate
Scholar Day. Students who cannot attend this event will be scheduled
for phone interviews

Need-Based Business Scholarships
Each year, Goshen College gives approximately 20 students a scholarship
honoring Erie and Orlyss Sauder. In recognition of their interest
in higher education for careers in business, Erie and Orlyss established
these scholarships for students majoring in accounting, business,
or business information systems.
Eligibility
The Sauder Scholarships are available to students intending to major
in one of the Business Department's majors. The grants are based on
demonstrated need and priority is given to students with a 3.0 or
above grade point average. Each year, approximately five awards will
be given to each of four classes of students: first year, sophomore,
junior, and senior.
Application
No separate application is required for these scholarships. New students
must complete an application for admission to Goshen College and the
Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students with demonstrated
need and an expressed interest to major in one of the business majors
will be automatically considered for this award.
