Literacy Tutor

Job Description

Tutors will work with elementary school students on literacy skills in high-impact tutoring sessions. Tutors need to pass necessary background checks before being approved to work with the children. Tutors will be matched with their students for at least one semester and are expected to provide children with a supportive and consistent relationship.

 

Qualifications

Must have strong communication skills and be comfortable with technology. Prior experience working with children in a teaching, tutoring, or learning setting is highly desirable. Tutors may choose to work for 3-20 hours per week.
