Lead Kitchen Assistant Position at Bread & Chocolate

Our kitchen has been feeding weddings and celebrations for 30+ years and we’re looking for someone ready to help lead it, not just work in it.

As Lead Kitchen Assistant, you’ll be at the center of the action: prepping and cooking scratch-made dishes, plating and delivering meals, keeping the kitchen and equipment running smoothly, and stepping up to run the show when the Kitchen Manager is out. It’s real responsibility from day one, and real experience if you’re building toward a culinary or kitchen management path.

The work: fast-paced, hands-on, and never quite the same event twice — from elopements to full weddings to holiday parties in a beautiful, historic space.

The schedule: flexible part-time hours (5–25/week), including days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

The pay: pay will be determined by your background, education, and specific skills.
